MINISTRY OF EDUCATION, YOUTH AND SCIENCE

OPERATION PROGRAM “DEVELOPMENT OF THE HUMAN RESOURCES” 2007-2013

Specific aims of the Project

  1. Interdisciplinary training of the task group, encompassing all directions of the natural hazards risk.
  2. Increasing the motivation of the young scientists for carrying out of the research activity in Bulgaria by providing of additional resources and organizing complementary training programs.
  3. Providing access to the modern scientific achievements and possibility for lifelong learning.
  4. Support of the scientific mobility of the young scientists-geophysicists for increasing the quality of the scientific research.
  5. Stimulation of the partnership between research teams in Geophysical Institute, Central Laboratory of Seismic Mechanics and Earthquake Engineering, University of Mining and Geology St. Ivan Rilski and Sofia University working in the field of the reduction and management of natural hazards risk.
