Zvezdelina Marcheva is an assistant in the section "Physical Geography", Department of Geography - National Institute of Geophysics, Geodesy and Geography at BAS. The research tasks of the scientist are focused on the dynamics of pollution with arsenic and other heavy metals and metalloids along the Ogosta River, as well as the spatial distribution of pollution in the river valley. The research interests of the assistant are related to landscape geochemistry, statistical data analysis and statistical modeling, geographic information systems, geography education.
