Radan Ivanov Structural Engineer, Ph.D. Radan Ivanov is the manager
of the National Strong Ground Motion Network at the NIGGG, BAS. His scientific interests are focused on seismic monitoring of strong ground motions; seismic instrumentation, monitoring and field dynamic testing of buildings, facilities and cultural monuments; processing, analysis and evaluation of strong-motion and experimental data; experimental identification of the dynamic properties of buildings and facilities; modeling and analysis of the dynamic behavior and the failure modes of buildings, facilities and equipment by the Finite Element Method and the Discrete Element Method; seismic behavior of buried pipelines. |
