Antoaneta Kaneva Associate Professor PhD Antoaneta Kaneva is an associate professor at the Department of Earthquake Engineering at the National Institute of Geophysics, Geodesy and Geography, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. She is an engineer with extensive experience and knowledge in the field of the earthquake engineering, dynamics of structures, soil-structure interaction, finite element modeling and analyses of structures. Special focus in her research is the seismic risk assessment of large urbanized areas, the seismic behaviour and risk assessment of buried lifeline systems such as water and waste water systems, seismic risk mitigation. | |
