Mariana Nikolova Prof. Dr. Prof. Dr. Mariana Nikolova is working in the Department of Geography at the National Institute of Geophysics, Geodesy and Geography at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Her research activities are focused on physical geography, ecosystem services, climatology, natural hazard and risk assessment. She has directed and participated in dozens of national and international scientific and applied projects. Dr. Nikolova has many years of management experience in research institutions. She is member of the Commission for Global Change and Human Mobility to the International Geographic Union, the Bulgarian Geographic Society, international scientific networks and others. Prof. Nikolova is the author of more than 100 scientific publications on different problems of environment and sustainable development. | |
