Hristina Prodanova
Geographer
Hristina Prodanova works as a geographer at section “Physical Geography”, Department of Geography of the NIGGG-BAS.
Since 2016 she is a master of science in “Physical Geography and Landscape Ecology” from the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. Her master thesis was titled “Contemporary landscapes and opportunities for their forestry development in the Strazhata and Melovete, parts of the Central Predbalkan Region”.
Her scientific interests are focused on landscape ecology and environmental conservation, ecosystem goods and services, anthropogenisation and self- restoration of landscapes, invasive species distribution, geoinformation systems and remote sensing.
